NATIONAL QUALITY FRAMEWORK
|The National Quality Framework (NQF) for early childhood education and care was agreed by all Australian governments to get better educational and development outcomes for children using education and care services. The NQF encourages services to provide a high quality and consistent standard of early childhood education and care across Australia. The NQF includes:
Services are assessed and rated against seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS. NQS standards cover children's development and education as well as relationships with families, educator qualifications, and the service environment.
