We believe each child is unique in terms of their cultural heritage, development and life experience. Collectively the children and their families each contribute something very special to the relationships and interactions that are shared within our service. We believe learning is a lifelong process and acknowledge that families are the children's first and most important teachers. We believe children are competent and capable learners and that they learn best through relationships and connections with people, places, things and time. We believe children's learning emerges best from positive social relationships and interactions when they feel safe, supported and experience a sense of belonging. When children feel safe, nurtured and understood, they develop a sense of who they are and how they belong in their group.
