Philosophy & Mission

It is our role to nurture and protect our children, provide them with stimulating environments, embrace differences and promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child. We believe each child is unique in terms of their cultural heritage, development and life experience.

Collectively the children and their families each contribute something very special to the relationships and interactions that are shared within our service. We are inclusive of differences and welcome these differences in our kindergarten community as we believe they enrich our learning environment.

Creating Life-long Learners

We believe learning is a lifelong process and acknowledge that families are the children’s first and most important teachers. Children are competent and capable learners and we believe that they learn best through relationships and connections with people, places, things and time. We believe children’s learning emerges best from positive social relationships and interactions when they feel safe, supported and experience a sense of belonging.  When children feel safe, nurtured and understood, they develop a sense of who they are and how they belong in their group.
